I’ve been performing existing conditions surveys for 18 years. Ninety-nine percent of the as-built surveys that I do are done directly for architects.
Above is a picture of the rear deck and rear elevation of a house I surveyed in Westhampton, NY. An architect reached out to me in early Spring of this year. She needed precise as-built drawings of the house above, so that she could use them as the starting point for her redesign.
This is exactly the type of work I specialize in, and it’s a great project to showcase what I do for my architecture clients.

The Project
The subject property of this project was a 3,000 sf modern-style home located in Westhampton, NY, with views of the water. It had multi-levels and used natural materials to connect with the beach nature vibe of the neighborhood. It had expansive decks for outdoor living, which were included in my scope of work.
